This is the last market before Christmas, so mark your calendars to come shopping! We not only have delicious food to prepare a fresh and healthy meal at home, we also have ready to eat food at the market for a hot lunch. In addition to the food vendors, we have several vendors selling items that would make terrific holiday gifts. This week National Sharpening Co. will be here parked in front of the greenhouse. Drop your knives off to be sharpened while you shop the market.
We also have a special guest: Yarrow will be here making balloon animals and hats for the children at the market.

We had a fun and festive time at the farmers market on Saturday! Santa visited for Pet Photos with Santa and we had almost twice as many pets as last year. Enjoy the photos:

Santa is coming! Santa will be arriving at 11:00 for Pet Photos With Santa. The jolly fellow will be here from 11:00 - 2:00. The cost of a festive photo is $5.00 for a 4x6 photo (other options are available) with all proceeds going directly to local animal shelters and the Chelmsford Dog Park.
Anna Portillo will again be joining our market with her beautiful harp music this Saturday for your enjoyment. She is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and author.

Vendors Attending November 17th
Week three of the winter market is coming up this Saturday, Nov 17th. If you haven't been to the market yet, it's time for a visit. After two weeks of the market we have already had nine new vendors, and we will have another one this weekend. We are very excited to have The Polish Prince Pierogi joining us. They will have hand-crafted gourmet pierogi - cooked to order and also packaged for cooking at home.
Anna Portillo will be joining our market this Saturday for your musical enjoyment. She is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and author.
If you need your knives or scissors sharpened we will have National Sharpening Co. here on Nov 24th from 10:00-2:00. You can drop your knives off and go inside the market to have lunch and shop while they are sharpened.
Another 'Save the Date' is our 9th annual 'Pet Photos With Santa' on Saturday, Dec 1st. The cost of a festive 4x6 photo is only $5.00 with all proceeds to go directly to local animal shelters and Chelmsford's Dog Park. We also will have other photo sizes available as well as digital copies (great for Christmas cards).

We will have an eventful market this coming Saturday! There will be a few new vendors joining us this Saturday, as well as fun for the kids. "Friends of Roberts Field" in Chelmsford will be at the market and will be bringing a face painter to entertain the kids.
Hope Hebert will be at the market again this week to collect any and all non-perishable food items you can dig out of your cupboards to bring to the market this week. She is collecting for McCarthy Middle School's 43rd anniversary of Chelmsford's Project 300. Over the past 42 years McCarthy Middle School has collected over 702,000 food donations from students and staff. These donations were distributed by the Salvation Army during the holiday season to those in need. Project 300 has been named "The most successful school based food drive in the state" by Captain Jim Guest of the Salvation Army. Last year they collected 21,000 items - let's help out and see if they can top that this year!

We had our final market of the season on Saturday, March 17th. It's been a cold and snow filled March which made our final few weeks outside challenging! Thanks to all our customers that came and shopped!

Neither snow nor power outages can keep these vendors away! It was a cold day with plenty of people still without electricity, but we still had shoppers coming for their fresh food!
